Meliá Hotels Announces $110 Million Dominican Property

Meliá Hotels has announced that the in the Dominican Republic will open this December.  Spanish architect will spearhead the design of the $110 million property, which will be oriented in a circle to embody the universal symbol of wholeness and perfection.

New accommodations will range from 300 to more than 3,000 square feet, with suites housing one to two bedrooms as well as living and dining rooms, freestanding soaking tubs, and walk-in showers. Private, secluded balconies will feature hydro-massage whirlpool tubs and outdoor living spaces. Swim-Up suites will be complete with up to two bedrooms, exclusive pool access, lush garden areas, and a solarium.

Included among the resort’s seven F&B outlets will be a ceviche bar, cigar bar, sushi concept, and a modern steakhouse outfitted with an open kitchen. In addition to an extensive list of onsite programming, the Grand Reserve will also offer a 15-room spa.
